Jennifer Hartfield Jennifer Hartfield is a Maryland-based artist, designer, and small business owner whose work reflects a lifelong connection to creativity and culture. Raised in the Bronx, New York, she was surrounded by the city’s dynamic art scene from an early age, an influence that continues to shape her aesthetic and approach.
In January 2021, Jennifer created Chroma Pop, an art business that specializes in handcrafted decorative art products, virtual painting workshops, and offers exhibit management services for underrepresented, emerging, and established artists, including corporate clients.
Jennifer formally served as the Visual Arts Coordinator at the Dorchester Center for the Arts in Cambridge from 2022-25, MD. As her business expanded, she also took on the role of curator for a traveling exhibition titled "Nod to Naz: A Tribute to Hertz Nazaire", organized the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Inc. (SCDAA). The exhibition ran from April to October 2024, showcasing the work of the late Hertz Nazaire.
In February, 2025 she and her business partner opened 9s Studios, an art/ photo studio and Gallery in the heart of Downtown Easton, Maryland. 9s Studios is a creative space that displays quarterly art exhibitions, artist talks, leads youth/adult interactive painting workshops, photo inspired workshops and professional photo shoots
